Brahmvetta Shri Devaraha Hans Baba Trust runs a major Gaushala in its Vindhyachal Ashram in district Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh located close to Varanasi & Prayagraj. Trust Gaushala has 3000 cows at Vindhyachal Ashram, 200 cows in Vrindaban Ashram and 30 cows in Patna ashram. Our gaushalas are operated on completely non-commercial basis & no product of cow whatsoever is sold to anybody. In accordance with the highest traditions of Sanatan Dharma, the desi Gau Vansh is maintained by the funds of trust based on daan (voluntary donations) only.
No assistance or grant is ever availed from any government body either. Gausewa is the only method of parmarth which enables individuals to achieve all the four missions of life – Dharma, Arth , Kama & Moksha. Babaji says that there is no difference between Gau & Gopal & that gausewa is nothing but Krishansewa which will also enable our country to soon emerge as Akhand Bharat with globalisation of Sanatan Dharma . If all of us sacred Bhartiya Souls do gausewa by parting with dashansh (one tenth of our perishable income / wealth) or even 1 percent or even less in accordance with mandates of Sanatan Dharma as provided in our sacred scriptures, the quality of life both at individual, family & country & world level can improve very significantly. Babaji says that Gau is vishwamangal karini & is mother of entire global human society (Vishwamata). All our cows are of Desi variety & not jersey or hybrid. Daan or donations made for gausewa are also considered biggest astrological remedy for all types of adverse planetary positions. This is more so if we make donations for gausewa in gaushalas of Mahayogis where cows are treated as object of devotion & not as instruments for generating income.
