I as FA of ordnance clothing factory Shahjehanpur , asked to find reasons for higher cost of their Blanket vis a vis Privately produced trade blanket in 1990 . Ord fy was consuming 4 kg wool yarn , as against 3.5 kg consumed by Lal imli Kanpur & even less than that by private producers for producing final blanket of 3 Kg for Army . As OCF was consuming almost 600 grams extra wool , their cost of production was very high , costing Rs 1 cr extra (at current rate Rs 100 cr ) to Army . My report based on investigative audit created disturbance in system . OCF reduced yarn consumption & attributed it to technical reasons . I was transferred unceremoniously first to Kanpur & then to Allahabad in quick succession . Representations made by me were ignored & i joined defence pension office at Allahabad . Quick transfers causing disturbance in children education forced me to locate family at Bareilly . Separated existence creates problems . I had visited Ranikhet defence formations on tour . I chanced to meet one Mauni Baba & placed my problem before him . Mauni Baba asked me to see him in Magh Mela in Prayag . I also visited Kainchi ashram of great Mahayogi Neem Karoli Babaji . I also visited Temple / ashram of Haida Khan another great Mahayogi . I was also told that Lahiri Mahashay , another great Mahayogi who was a clerk in Military Enginering Service was posted at Ranikhet & only here his great journey into Mahayog started in a most mystic manner, as mentioned by his greatest disciple Paramhans Yoganandji in his great Granth ” Autobiography of a Yogi ” . My Ranikhet visit was a great experience . In jan 1994 , i with my colleague Sh Shailendra Sharma visited world famous Magh Mela at & around Sangam in Prayag . Mauni Baba gave some fruits as prasad .I , being not familiar with saints ways of blessing , asked what about my request , was told that saints resolve problems thru blessings only & no further activities are required . While returning , Shailendraji asked whether i would visit his Sadguru in Magh mela & he took me to the camp of Brahmvetta Shri Devaraha Hans Babaji. Babaji spoke in his paravani that you ( Bhagwan ) & me ( Bhakt ) are one .Jo tu hai , vohi main hoon . It was not understood by me but i realised that i was before a great saint. I expressed my desire to Babaji to proceed on deputation from department to some Ministry in GOI at New Delhi , as it would offer 5 year long assignment to avoid problem of frequent transfers & stability in personal life . Babaji did not give any direct answer but asked me to see him in Delhi . I realised that prayer has been answered . I was transfered to Delhi & in next two months , i was posted on deputation to Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas as Dy Secy / Dir & remained there for 5 .5 years . This was beginning of higher spiritual life in association with a very great saint at the age of 38 years . Our family astrologer told that my frequent shiftings were due to Mahadasha of Rahu & effect of pratyanter of Rahu & Shani . Further told me that this period causes great sufferings but it also opens up spiritual process in a big way . Sufferings in material & personal world sometimes open up doors of higher spiritual life .
Magh Purnima , 31/ 01/2018 , I have completed my uninterrupted association of 24 years appx with Babaji , all due to Babaji’s blessings .
