Bharat is currently importing 85 percent of its crude oil & gas requirements from abroad & after seventy years of free india , we are producing only 15percent of our consumption in Bharat . This is a very massive failure of all governments in last seventy years . This is a failure more of the petroleum system rather than political components of current government. A false picture has been created that India has very poor prospect of oil & gas in Bharat . Brahmvetta Shri Devaraha Hans Baba ji, a Trikaaldarshi Mahayogi l, has been telling us that Bharatvarsh has huge quantities of oil& gas in country but oil companies have largely failed to discover , develop & produce oil in the country & this is not because of ineffeciency but because of deliberate intentions of oil exporters to India & our own internal factors who have developed a vested interests in continuing imports . Government of India has to break this unholy alliance between importing & exporting components of our current petroleum system .
